Every once in a while something reminds me this strip is Canadian. I wonder when was the last time anyone in the U.S. used the word “gormless”. Maybe never?

I find today’s strip very humerus.

Those bones are too old to provide a good chew.

So, about an hour ago the smoke alarm squawked. Great. Its the one on the 12 foot ceiling…double great. I went over to the control panel and started pushing buttons, the previous owners didn’t leave me instructions. Well it squawked a couple more times and quit. Now I’m gonna be awake all night waiting…

Yes, we had rain, high wind and snow in the air, but after the trash men came. Also I looked out and the resident brown geese have a new friend . A very large white goose. Did he decide not to go south and stay here. Did he ( or she) escape from someone’s Thanksgiving dinner plans? The locals didn’t seem to mind their new friend at all.

NATIONAL SCRAPPLE DAY

MICROTIA AWARENESS DAY. Approximately one child in every 9,000 is born with Microtia. Microtia occurs when the ear or ears do not fully develop during the 1st trimester of pregnancy. While Microtia is diagnosed at birth, there is no understanding of why Microtia occurs. Those born with Microtia face hearing loss, facial challenges, and the longing for social acceptance.

NATIONAL LOUISIANA DAY

As usual, we had lots of very strong winds and very little rain. Waiting for the clouds to clear, the mountains had quite a bit of snow. Further north, highway 395 running along the eastern Sierra was shut down all night due to white out conditions. Alternate route is up to 200 miles out of the way.

Doggies ain’t gonna be happy with Chez when they discover that those bones is mostly rock.

I didn’t even know this strip was Canadian.(For some reason I thought it was from Australia )

I feel sorry for those dogs. They’re going to find out those bones are actually fossilized rock. Never heard of the word gormless before. Must be the Canadian or British equivalent of “moron.” Kind of has an interesting ring to it. On another note, saw a raven, a wren, five spotted towhees, and a chipmunk while out walking today.
