Republicans who drive $80,000 (and up) trucks are terrified of high gas prices.

Republicans are terrified of IRS agents, but not school shootings.

Inflation is global and much of it is related to oil companies price-gouging combined with the supply chain issues. The u.S. gas prices are better than most of the world and would be even lower of the Repubs had voted for the anti-price-gouging bill put forward by the Dems. The increased number of IRS agents is to cover the constant cost cutting at the IRS over sevarl years. With reduced number of agents, the IRS would only pick “low hanging fruit”, so they would audit lower income people that can’t afford a team of lawyers and accountants. If they are armed, it would be for their own protection because of fear-mongering about them.

These costumes scare the uninformed, definitely not REAL grown-ups.

Argument ad populum – the two proven methods to get the masses to vote for you: 1: build a campaign of fear of “outsiders”, 2: tell voters you’ll solve every problem they mention. Do not attempt to educate voters or tell them the truth; that seldom works.

It seems the last time I checked, inflation and gas prices were going down, just not very fast. And, the only IRS agent I’ve ever seen was armed.

To address each: Inflation is expected when you prop up the economy in 2020 with $6.7T and then again in 2021 with $1.9T in Covid bucks, most of it PPP forgiven loans. I just paid $3.49 a gallon today for gas, a lie except in CA maybe. IRS agents have always had armed members in their service, nothing new. Not scared and have been called an adult occasionally.

If you’re worried about the IRS coming after you, you’ve been a very bad person.

Inflation sux, but gas is $3.00 a gal. in NORTEX and the right has been down sizing the IRS for years so their rich can steal from the poor. It’s time to start taxing the rich also. I doubt that armed IRS agents will kill as many unarmed citizens as the white supremacist law enforcement has and they kill about 50% more than is reported. These are things your corporate controlled media won’t tell you because their advertisers won’t allow it. When the government lies, the truth becomes a traitor. Free Julian Assange.
