Technically, Kat was telling the truth. Unless for some reason you count the hearts popping as talking.

At least we don’t have to listen about a toddler show having a complex lore.

Why the heart emoges when she mentioned “fit and flare” dresses? I feel like I missed something.

Okay good we’re past the hlarious but weird barney arc and back into Kat and Lee. Speaking of which hopefullyt hat moves somewhere near foreward. Either way i’m glad to be back to bye bye birdie.

Would a grade school really have one of the students in charge of making the costumes for the entire cast?

Oh, so the exclamation point behind your head is fine, but floating hearts are a problem? That’s—! …Emoji-cist? Punctuation privilege?

    I got nothing.

I’m a little confused about why taking apart an existing dress would be the best way to get a pattern. Even if you get the dress from a place like Goodwill, there is still a cost. Paper patterns are faster, give you different sizes, and don’t cost that much more.

I am so glad that Steenz is addressing this topic.

Middle school is pretty much where such attachments start, and they can be life long and sustaining.

Yes, yes… at this point in life, most don’t last, but some do make it through the school years and into everyday life.

What most pleases me is that such a topic can, today, be presented in a daily comic strip.

Yes, there is a lot left to accomplish, but we have come a long way since I was in middle school (65 years ago).

The fact she said nope makes it less believable that she didn’t say anything.
