It’s amazing how conservatives who supposedly believe in a free market economy, criticize this POTUS for not stepping in and taking control of the publicly traded companies in order to enforce some fictitious energy policy. You’d think all the money they pay in political donations would cause Republicans to protect them and give them tax breaks. Hmmm.

The policy is simple; people like Mr. Gorrell and his GOP masters refuse to implement it.

Wonder why we didn’t hear about this under Trump? Oh yeah, he didn’t come into his term as POTUS saying he was going to kill the fossil fuel industry, cancel pipelines that were already under way, and cancel leases for drilling. Gee, I just can’t figure out why gas got so darn expensive. Funniest of all is Biden going to Sadia Arabia, hat in hand to tell them to produce more oil, only to be told to get lost. Then they decided to cut production by 2 mil barrels a day, which of course will raise prices even higher, and his last desperate move was to ask not to cut production till after the election, and they said, “F off”. What a total loser.

Republicans have convinced the ignorant conservative that President Biden somehow controls the global oil industry, and that by giving the U.S. oil industry more land will magically bring down the price of gas.

so Gorrell and the GOP’s energy plan is what? “drill baby drill”?

then what? what happens when we have runaway climate change?

will temporarily lowering gas prices be worth human extinction?

GOP energy policy: “I want what I want because I’ve always had what I wanted. And make sure it’s the same price!!!”

I hear echoes of the Beatles singing, “Nothings gonna change my world”.

Republicans tried their best to make us dependent on foreign oil. Diversifying our energy with a planned exit from oil reliance is the USA’s best strategy to be energy independent.

Did you catch this gaffe? This time, the POTUS was speaking about his controversial student loan forgiveness program. Using a teleprompter apparently didn’t safeguard the Democrat from flubbing his lines, with Biden spelling out the word “dot” in a website. “If you get any questionable calls, please tell us by going to report fraud … report fraud, D-O-T, F-T-C, dot gov,” he said. What an idiot!

There are plenty of drilling permits that oil companies are not making use of.

Gorrell, what energy policy do you suggest? The Strategic Reserve was established for exactly the reason happening today. U.S. oil companies have been making record profits every month since March of 2021, and about 6 or 7 months ago told stock holders that they were slowing exploration and drilling because they were making so much profit without those costs.

Do you propose that Biden sets pricing for U.S. oil?

Do you propose to force U.S. oil to explore and drill?

Do you propose Biden ban U.S. oil from being sold on the world market?

“The White House has staked its credibility on being able to lower energy prices. It’s definitely unusual because the reality is that presidents don’t control gas prices. They never have and they never will.” – said Ben Cahill, a senior fellow at the conservative Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington thinktank.
