This MIGHT be an example of what conservatives say is the knee-jerk contempt that liberals have for them. Not sure…that’s why I said MIGHT be. I haven’t examined Walker’s words enough to say for sure, but I heard and read that he came out OK in the first debate, from both sides. So, IS THIS sentence “No thinking person etc.” knee-jerk, perhaps unmerited, automatic, contempt? And don’t say, the right does it also, because pointing the finger doesn’t excuse the original accusation if it’s unfair. If we liberals want to be judged by our words, we have to use fair ones, not descend to a lower level.
