For those who missed it, The Great British Bake-off, a popular UK TV show, recently had a “Mexican Week,” with no Mexican people in sight. I saw an excerpt where two presenters raved over something they called a “taaaco” (they made it rhyme with “whacko”). As a Texan who has spent a lot of time in Mexico, I can assure you that thing was not a taco. Not even close.
