    Yes! This is what I’ve always said! Why would anyone want to say she’s younger than she actually is? It’s so much better to have people think you look good for your age, instead of thinking you look old for your years.

    That’s what I always thought about dyeing your hair. Doing it makes your wrinkles much more noticeable while keeping it grey makes people see how young you still look.

    I honestly don’t understand why people lie about their age – well, except for kids trying to get booze when they’re underage. But really, what’s the big deal? If your self-worth depends on a lie, well, that’s pretty pathetic, in my view…

    I’ve always been proud of my age, largely because I think it marks accomplishments. These aren’t always the usual accomplishments, but nevertheless to me my age is a sign of strength.

    I’m fine with being told I look great- for my age, but it was a lot more fun when they didn’t feel the need to add the “for your age” part.
