“Too much Star Trek”—? But, then, I’m here early today. But I did see the very first Star Trek show when it was first broadcast; we were so taken by the idea of the series!
Enjoy the pancakes Amanda. Just mull how the ship’s replicator would make them materialize (with butter? Blueberries? Nuts?). Or imagine you’re in the Holodeck set for homey small town gathering. Don’t forget the No Mosquitoes option during the programming option. Consider leaving your rubber ears at home.
I understand Amanda, I wasn’t comfortable eating in front of anyone that wasn’t family all through middle school and high school. I ate breakfast and then wouldn’t eat again until I got home.

I, too, am nervous about eating in front of people. It’s because I have a tendency to eat rapidly at times.
