When the invasion occurred, one of my first thoughts was that a parallel could be made to the Bolsheviks’ invasion of Poland (1919-21). Trying to restore the previous empire. I just hope this one plays out as that one did.
in looking at this, i just saw some old photos where Putin was strutting around and then riding a horse shirtless. I fear that with such an ego suffering a loss in Ukraine will be conducive to his ego and persona. See how Trump’s loss has affected his ego and persona.
