    I am surprised Andy didn’t quote him saying, “A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” Andy has seen lots of moonlight!

    @Number Three , Today’s strip is funny ? I cant understand what our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is on about, my avatar again is a picture of our fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean grinning because he’s in a good mod like I am , how was you day? after yesterday’s hassle with both my sons coming over to fix the electricity , today should be calm , no shopping to do or errands to run just stay inside the house because it’s hot outside , we both are in a good mood so we will just keep hydrated keepsafe and thanks for caring young Lady

    How a bout a quote from someone else? To paraphrase:

    “To bet, or not to bet. That is the question. Weather it better to seek fortune with Flo’s money in gambling, or to seek new dreams in some good brew.”

    How far is Hartlepool from Reading? Who knows, Capp may have been in the same Gaol as Oscar Wilde!!

    I also had a wonderful English teacher. She is the reason why I advanced up to the higher class of English Literature at school. I know it was because of me too since I paid attention and done the work. But still. She was awesome and hilarious.

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie.

    I’m sad to say I still have my rotten cold so I decided not to go to the carvery today. I have rebooked for next month. As much as I love the carvery, I make myself wait for a while. No harm in it. If I don’t go one month, I just wait until the next month. I guess it’s how I roll.

    Looks like I’ll be staying at home for the rest of the week. At least I have you lot to get me through.

    I was told yesterday that it could be the change in temperature as one of the staff at the library was feeling the same. There is definitely something going round. I was one of the ‘lucky’ recipients. Sigh.

    Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

    P.S. Summer officially ends tomorrow so I will be telling you to “Stay warm” next time I reply to you!

    I highly doubt Oscar Wilde was a drunken layabout like Andy.
