    You just described that experience completely and accurately. There is a secondary depression from the remembrance that you did feel normal for a day or an hour or whatever.

    I wish I didn’t relate so well to this. Sometimes I wonder, though, if I would miss it if I was “normal.” The depth of my feeling, both high and low, is remarkable and after a lifetime of it, anything else may not feel like living. What a long strange trip it has been.
