I agree that Chesney is a pest, but I would take a million dollars to take care of him. Heck, I’d even take the $100,000 to take care of him. Then I’d hope I wouldn’t regret it later when he orders a ton of shrimp tails to be delivered to my house.

From yesterday’s comments to amethyst52 who asked if I got the stove in the house. Yep, the stove went in pretty easily and the old one is gone. But I still need to call an electrician to replace my 3 prong outlet with a 4 prong outlet before I can use the stove.
As for the couch, it’s going to stay out in the yard at least for a while. The day after my brothers found there was no way that couch was going in through my narrow back door, I was sitting in my lawn swing when one of the bars holding up the seat broke, so until I get that fixed, I’m sitting on the couch outside instead. I have another bar to replace the one that broke, but I need to find the right wrench to remove the bolt so I can put on another bar. I didn’t feel like working that hard the other day, So I’m just using the couch instead.
I forgot to mention that I had a chance to get another kitten on Tuesday night. As I was leaving work for the night, another associate (whose name is also Becky) was outside with a friend. The friend had the most adorable calico kitten – probably about 8 weeks old. Of course, I had to stop and admire the kitten. Then the friend asked if I would like to have the kitten. Of course I would! But I couldn’t take her. I already have 14 kitties since I have Annie and the 3 kittens. I don’t need to take on any more, much as I would like to. And I adore calico kitties!
Why, why why do parent wait until the day before school starts to get their supplies?? I had my list from the district donation guy and headed to WM. SO many adults, WAY too many kids in those aisles! Luckily, I could get most of my supplies from just two different aisles. I don’t usually wait this long to do it but time got away from me this year. I forgot the washable markers so will have to stop in again this weekend but it shouldn’t be so crowded. While I took one cart to do that, Brad took another cart to get the grocery portion of our shopping. We finished at the same time and there was just one person between us at the checkstand.
I picked up my first Christmas quilt from the shop yesterday and it came out really pretty, if I do say so myself. I have one more at the shop, along with my polka dots one and I’m just adding the sashing and borders to my third and final Christmas one today. I have one more to do but it’s more winter than Christmas.
Of the 4 panels in today’s toon, look at how Chesney’s expression fits the moment. GH is a genius (when he isn’t threatening to retire). Of the final 3 panels, I can’t decide which is the cutest/most endearing…….
