I am pretty sure that when I was in grade school, in the sixties, the cafeteria was feeding us War surplus food, likely from WWII, so yeah. Years later I had mutton at a dinner and discovered that mutton tastes susipiously and exactly like what the cafeteria had claimed was beef.
