I received a pair of photos from Queen of America Tuesday morning.  My first inclination was to laugh… what Moose was wearing looked so much like one of those water-soaked cooling neckerchiefs I was wearing this past holiday weekend while my wife and I were camping.

But the real background story is from QoA herself, and is as follows…

“Laughingkitty mentioned that feral-cat, Annie, who recently got fixed, has to wear the dreaded cone-collar-of-shame.  I suggested she try one of these.  I got it on Amazon but stores might carry them.  Moose seemed SO much more comfortable with this one. I just bought two in different sizes for the shelter, along with a heartbeat puppy and a heartbeat bear.”

Lily was on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills back in the day. She knows how to sit quietly, give her paw and meow on cue. Oprah will love her.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your Gracie. I have a Gracie, too. No matter how long they live or how long we have them, it’s never long enough. :(

Did anyone else try to get the hair off their screen?

I can’t think of anything to say, so I will softly and quietly vanish away.

The color of lounge chairs is important when you are going to be leaving Lily cat hair all over them.

Someone is certainly full of herself. That’s not a criticism. She just knows her self worth.

I just went over the posts from yesterday. I’m so sorry, sweetpeapete, that Gracie is gone. You and Sarah did all you could and loved her to the end.

Santa Barbara would be a nice place to live, and she has a large piece of property. But the other 9 and Annie must go with her.

For sweetpeapete: my heartfelt condolences, it’s so hard to say goodbye and they are with us such a short time. She is happy, chasing butterflies in kitty heaven.

No menu demands? Seems like Lily is being quite reasonable.

I don’t know about Lily, but I bet Oprah would love Oliver. Then again, who wouldn’t love Oliver? On another note, saw two robins, a junco, and a dragonfly while out walking today.
