Remove the small change that was done to the bill’s funding section between the June vote when republicans overwhelming supported the bill, and the vote last week that included the last-minute change. The amendment to put the funding language back the way it was had been filed before last week’s vote and was rejected by schumer, hence the number of senators changing their vote to NO. Adopt the amendment to retore the funding language as it was and the bill will fly.

And Biden canceled the Veterans Rapid Reeducation Program. So why should I vote for him.

A large part of the “fuel” in burn pits was human waste – something the GOP knows well, for they keep nominating them . . .

The official stance of the GOP is that veterans “knew what they were signing up for,” “only suckers volunteer” and “I like heroes that don’t get captured”

“When President Donald Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018, he blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that “the helicopter couldn’t fly” and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true.

Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

Once again we can thank that gutless wonder we have had as our senator for the last 12 years. The trumplicans want to put that carpet-bgging quack TV doctor in his spot. He waited until the last minute to move down to his in-laws in Brynn Athyn near Philly and then put his worthless self in the running for a senate seat. He only knows life in that little, expensive town. He does wander around the state, mostly in red areas to try to appeal to the voters there. He mocks Fetterman for resting after his stroke instead of taxing his body on the campaign trail. Some doctor. Now we’re getting ads from these anonymous dark money funds insisting he’s a red-hot leftist. Pa. will be awash in muck for some time to come.

Support the troops! Don’t you dare disrespect them by kneeling during the anthem! Wear flag pins! But when it comes time to actually do something meaningful for them, that costs MONEY . . . crickets chirping

My Senators (Ted Cruz and John Cornyn) voted against it, just to spite the Democrats, oh…and any coincidental blowback on our country’s veterans is the Demos fault, as well as any other “ketchup” they throw against the wall to see if it sticks.

Arguing about what is in the bill isn’t the point, actually. It didn’t change substantially in the 20 minutes while McConnell got outfoxed by the Democrats and they passed the bill he objected to. This is just his revenge. Proving again that Republicans will vote against anything good that Democrats might get credit for. They would rather rule a he11 that they have created than live in heaven.
