There’s a Children’s Day? When did that happen – or is it just Canadian?

When I was young and complained that there was no Children’s Day I was told that EVERY day is children’s day.

If I am to believe what I read in the comics, today is International Cat Day:

I remember an old joke. A kid says to his Mom, “There’s a Mother’s Day and a Father’s Day; why is there no Children’s Day?” And the Mom replies, “EVERY day is Children’s Day!”

Enjoying the sun while he can. Enjoy it while you can. No telling what comes.

When I complained to my Dad about having to go to school. He laughed and said the best is yet to come….working!
