Those are real plastic beads in his hair. Not those fake plastic beads.

We visited Disneyland (Anaheim, CA) then the Universal Studios tour. There was an interesting difference: At Disneyland, they wanted us to pretend the characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Alice, etc., were real. On the rides, they wanted us to pretend we were traveling through space, aboard a real submarine, or railroad, etc. But, at Universal Studios, the attitude was “It’s fake, and we like to show you how we do it.”

Here is a hint, It is all fake at the Caribbean tourist places too.

Do places like this really exist? Serious question because my vacations have usually just involved going camping in the mountains or similar. I’ve never even considered a ‘theme park’ type vacation so don’t know if places like this are “real” or not.

Steel drum players always have the hands inside the drum where you can’t see. He should’ve put a small MIDI controller in their and still used the synthesizer. They sound authentic and no one would be any the wiser….

Steel drum bands are much more expensive

I have a feeling that synthesizer is going to be somewhere else in a moment.

When I was 10, my family visited Scotland. We were at a harbor on the Isle of Skye, and there was a steel-drum band playing. No bagpipes, though.
