Knowing Oliver, he’s probably wat hinges something like Lassie Come Home or Old Yeller. Definitely not The Pink Panther.

I saw the garage kittens again tonight when I took some canned cat food out for them. They were on the stairs again. One was a black kitten with a little white spot on its chest. There’s also a little gray tabby. The mom cat, who I’m calling Annie, was by the cat door again. I put half of the canned food in a bowl for her and put the rest over by the stairs for the kittens. Oh yeah – I put a litter box in the garage too, and they have been using it. Even the kittens are using it (I can tell by the size of the poops). And of course, I keep plenty of fresh water out there too.

I saw an adult calico one day, but have not seen her since. Maybe she was not one of the throw away kitties, but just a neighbor cat? I’m a bit worried about her, though in case she was dumped. I’d hate to have another litter of kittens born out there in the garage.

Our boy is going to be so disappointed. Yesterday a neighbor took me to an old mine that has easy open access and about a mile of tunnels, most wide enough for several people. It was really interesting to explore. The Inyo Mountains, which are just east of our town, have hundreds of old mines but very few are safe enough to enter.

Instead of the number of angels who can dance on the head of a pin, the debate is over how many cats can sit on another cat’s eyeball.

Chesney is in for a big disappointment. I’m sure if Oliver had a way to show movies, he would, though. On another note, saw a rabbit, two robins, a dragonfly, an eagle, a junco, and a finch while out walking today.
