Make things easier for yourself by simply walking on the sidewalk, instead of trying to balance yourself with flailing arms walking on the curb. It won’t be so easy for you when you tip over, and fall into the street in front of a moving vehicle. Although, you may be saved by the miraculous elements of “cartoon physics.”
