Sounds like a classic case of shooting the arrow, then drawing the bullseye around where it hit.

Two points. The red head girl is wrong. It is easier in life never having to buy new clothes to wear or even having to do the laundry.

Second point. The girl in the yellow t-shirt has indeed found things easier after leaving the magnet school. She no longer has to carry around on her back that heavy backpack.

Huh, I never expected a Nancy strip to take me down a rabbit hole of dialectical materialism, but here we are.

Nancy, the sidewalk is over there to your left where Esther is. Make things easier for yourself by simply walking on the sidewalk, instead of trying to balance yourself with flailing arms walking on the curb. It won’t be so easy for you when you tip over, and fall into the street in front of a moving vehicle. Although, you may be saved by the miraculous elements of “cartoon physics.”

When I have questions about the meaning of life or what it’s about, I go to the wisest source of all: small children who’ve been alive for, like, 5 minutes. Actually, I used to do that until they started screaming “Stranger danger!” at me.

“We might be the best in the whole world at it.” This is Ms Jaimes talking about comic strip drawers.
