There’s no reason for a private citizen to have access to that kind of weapon.

There is absolutely no ethical justification for selling those to the public. Particularly young mentally unstable men.

Disarming people isn’t the answer. As a Native American I really don’t think its a good idea to take away peoples weapons. Just speaking from a family history stand point.

Seriously, can anyone give me a LOGICAL REASON for a civilian to own a Military grade KILLING MACHINE, since they are useless for hunting, more dangerous for “Self-Defense” then any imaginary attacker, and more likely to get the user shot by Law Enforcement?? And PLEASE, that tired old hackneyed phrase “I need to be able to shoot back when the Gubbmint’ comes to take my guns away” is NOT in any way a legitimate reason!!

I have NO PROBLEM with people owning firearms for sport use, or hunting, or self defense, but WHY does ANYONE need a weapon that can spray several hundred rounds a minute around ?? Hell, I live in Kentucky, where a large majority of the citizens are gun owners, and that includes almost all of my neighbors and friends. The hunting season is a big deal here, and safe use of firearms is no problem.

Just because the shooter in the last 15 mass killings used that particular gun, we should ban it? /s

And every person who thinks these weapons should be available is complicit in each murder

Marty, I don’t recall ever disagreeing with your message, but I will this one. The genocide against your ancestors, whether one shot at a time or by use of the Gatling gun is evidence enough that it is the person who murders, not the weapon used. While this school shooting doesn’t look to be racially motivated, it is still an act of someone attempting to dominate others. Supremacy is a fallacy that is a mental illness and should be treated as such. It is to be feared, but not ignored or misplaced, known so as to be defeated.

Nobody’s trying to take guns away. Just keep weapons of war out of the hands of civilians.

“…when fired into a human adult body, its bullets travel with such fierce velocity that they can decapitate a person, or leave a body looking “like a grenade went off in there,” as Peter Rhee, a trauma surgeon at the University of Arizona, told Wired.”If an “adult” needs to play with such a weapon to get their jollies, why not have a range where they pay to use one against various inanimate targets with the likeminded audience they so crave?

Junior Trump says those children could have as easily been killed with a baseball bat. That’s the mindset the country is facing.

My opinion: There should be more people to help “ban” the people and less trying to ban the guns.

The reason there are so many shootings by males is because they don’t have good role models. Thier fathers left them, and they think that violence is “manly”.

We really do need to protect the babies who are already born before we worry about the potential ones who aren’t any more than zygotes.

If you do a web search of “terrorist-FBI” a link to the FBI page defining domestic and foreign terrorists will show up. All of the mass murderers I can remember fill the bill. Is it really necessary to make sure terrorists are armed with the latest and greatest mass killing tools?

I did an experiment over the weekend. I sat my SKS on the front porch, nothing happened. Sat my .22, both shotguns, a .50 Cal. still nothing happened. Put all my pistols, STILL NOTHING HAPPENED. I thought, maybe it might be the knives that gets the firearms in to do bad things, SOOO!!! I put the knives out there. NOPE, Still Nothing. After all day on the porch no got shot, I brought them all back in cleaned them and put them back in the safe. You can’t blame the firearm manufacturer or the firearm for stupidity. There is more deaths by automobile accidents everyday than with a firearm. Are you going to sue the auto industry? Sounds kind of stupid doesn’t it.
