The Republicans are saying we need more police. How many, I wonder, one for each of us? Plus one cop to watch the cop that is watching us. Nonsense, and they know it, but “more police” sounds good to the unthinking.

Look up “body armor” on Amazin’. After you get past the lotions etc. You can outfit yourself for an assault for under $1000.
