    I have worked for a government agency (a state college) and my sister has worked for many different governmental agencies. I can tell you from personal experience that most government employees are hard working people who started working for the government to make a change in the world. I also know that there are many people who are just putting in their time, doing the least amount of work that they can to just get their paycheck and benefits; but I see that in the private sector as well.

    Political party affiliation has little to do with if someone is diligent or lazy.
