There’s a portion of the left that is just seems to want everyone to be a miserable as they are. You don’t like somebody’s jokes? Don’t go to their show, don’t listen or watch their comedy specials, and don’t tell me I shouldn’t enjoy that comedian, either. It’s gotten so ridiculous even the most benign of comics like Seinfeld don’t play on college campuses any more.

There are some stand up comedians that are in your face comics. They do insults that are often not funny and are often abusive. So while Smith was out of line for his assault of the comic, the comic was guilty of bad comedy, too.

Sadly, these attacks have happened in the past, before Will Smith, but his actions at a nationally televised event, with no immediate consequence, has and will emboldened others.

You know, I have never liked comedy, stand ups and the like. Too mean spirited for me. But, I can’t understand someone getting so outraged as to storm the stage and attack the comedian. I understand it was a trans guy who was pissed at his comedy.
