My late loving wife and I had 2 Chihuahua’s, 1 male and 1 female and also had a Catahoula. the female Chihuahua was always starting and finishing something with the Catahoula. she would always run up to him and bite him on the legs, chest or lips and then growl at him. He would just stand there and look at her like she was crazy.
