It is a nice thought for being oneself—but the flip side can become us not cooperating with others. Good harmony is better!

We courteous drivers would give you space, Amanda. Three to four seconds on the road and far enough behind you to see the bottom of your tires touching the pavement at stops. That way if an idiot in a Denali were to rear-end us we would not bump into you.

In your neck of the woods I imagine a Denali is a compact. Still, better than a Peterbilt filling your mirrors and back of a tanker filling your windshield, at sixty miles an hour. On a dusty dirt road.

Definitely the road less traveled.

Is it me or are drivers becoming less courteous and less aware of basic driving rules and safety?

I just HATE it when that happens! I try to get in another lane but it’s not always possible.

I spend most of my daily commute with someone practically riding in my trunk. Doesn’t make me speed up — if anything, I’m more likely to slow down!

I get those idiots daily! I take my foot off the gas and go slower, until the genius gets the point and goes around me!

My Denali almost killed me a few years ago when something happened in the engine, and it went into low power mode on the interstate during rush hour. 20 MPH in the center lane with semis coming up behind at 75 MPH.
