^Conservatives are the ones who make it necessary to even have a disinformation board.

If Republicans would stick to objective facts instead of alt-facts and conspiracy theories, we wouldn’t need disinformation disclaimers.

A government “Disinformation board” is a bad thing.

There is disinformation. Disinformation is bad. But there will come a time when the Rs put the worst person they can find in the white house. It is their active plan now. Having a disinformation board in existence when that worst person is in the white house will be a disaster.

The Patriot Act was a gross mistake that was well meaning at the time. Now we can’t seem to end it.

Repeat after me, Mr. Lester – Social Media is protected from government censorship by the First Amendment. The government can not tell Facebook what it can or can not allow, unless that speech is breaking the law. However, social media can make and enforce standards of conduct on their platforms, that is their right. If Twitter wants to ban someone from their platform, they can. They don’t have to explain it or justify it. It’s their football, so their rules. That is not censorship, that is business.

The problem Mr. Lester has is that he and his ilk believe that free speech should have no consequences. Sorry, that’s not how it works.

I don’t think a purveyor of misinformation should head the board on misinformation (soon to be called the Ministry of Truth). And if I were Julie Andrews I’d throat punch off-tune Jankowicz to make sure she never sang anything ever again. Oy!

Since they are going to be monitoring for foreign disinformation, this cartoon will not be checked. Now if they were going to monitor domestic disinformation, this cartoon would qualify.

Mike Lester has been the Typhoid Mary of disinformation for a long time. And he’s quite proud of it.

Choosing Jankowicz is the most problematic issue. She has already publicized her biases which should have disqualified her from leading the DGB.

Is Lester implying that waterboarding is bad?

This is just wrong; we Republicans will never win another election if we’re not allowed to lie to the voters.
