His picture is based on a vague memory of a B&W headshot I saw, half a century ago, in Advertising Age, a magazine my Dad received. The guy’s face was such a blank, I stuck with me.
Some of the character types in these bios I knew from Dad’s job, and some from my own work experience as a temp. They’re all founded in reality as I’ve seen it.
Good for him! Odds are he got an awesome retirement package – full pension and medical – put his kids through college without loans, and had an actual “mortgage burning” party at his place with all his true friends that he kept separate from work.
