    No sound effects when Red bats the ball – only a “chomp” when Rover catches it.

    The natural predator of the whiffle ball is the canine. The over/under is 5 minutes for my Rugby “ Uncle Bob we need another whiffle ball “.

    We used the half-and-half version and wore out 3 or 4 every year. A couple of my older brothers had wicked breaking stuff.

    My workplace (a country store) sells wiffle balls & bats. They don’t seem to sell well, but they fit with the old-fashioned atmosphere.
