Pineapple on pizza is great. When it’s run through a pizza oven the sugar in the pineapple caramelizes creating a very nice sweet crunch that just enhances the flavor of everything. I personally get a hawaiian with pepperoni.
And no, I don’t understand it. people have fruit on their savory dishes all the time.
