How about a book that has been made into a movie that was made into a theme park ride and then into another movie? None of which as good as the original book.

Make sure that you put questions on the test about parts that were in the book but not the movie, and vice versa.

“Do you read the Bible?” “No father, I’ll wait they make the movie”

Go watch ‘Berlin Alexanderplatz’ (1980) in one sitting.

For some reason they never have made a Reading for Dummies book.

If you only see the movie – you’ll hardly ever know what the book was about. Sometimes it seems like the characters only have the same names and maybe the location is right. I gave up on books made into movies – and now just consider them as ‘based on the book — maybe’.
