I am loving this. This shameful part of our history needs exposing regularly, and this arc is doing that with accompanying warmth—effectively.
Mine was Mr Collins, on Milan Ave, from 1946 ’til 1949. He was elderly when I was still crawling, but he followed me around to keep me safe. I always knew I had some one who enjoyed good conversation. He died when I was 4.
