Actually, since “Twitter” is a private platform rather than a public platform, anyone with the money to influence and adjust it may do so with impunity, which means that Musk can do anything to Twitter that he wants and has the money to accomplish.

And “Concretionist”, above, is absolutely correct – in the corporate world, money is the overriding factor in doing ANYTHING. If Elon Musk has the financial resources to affect or even destroy “Twitter” and desires to do so, it is his “right” to do so – we do NOT control how anyone “spends” their financial resources, beyond keeping it “legal”, and what Musk is doing is completely legal.
It’s still early, but it turns out muskie may have artificially deflated the stock price so he could buy up a controlling interest at a major profit, which is super illegal.
Also, twitter offered him a space on the board of directors and a public role with the company, but he declined when they told him it would require a background check.
