I’ve always wondered: what was Jan’s ancestor like when it came to horse and buggy?

Jan has road rage waiting for the garage door to fully open.

If she didn’t plug it in the night before to a fast charger, she has a 5-12 hour charging wait.240v @ 50 amps for 3 hours equals one gallon of gasoline. Faster charging is going to require wiring homes with 3-phase power. Utilities cry when homes all have their 5 kW central air conditioners on at once.

In a few years, they will be encouraging everyone to switch to horse and buggy.

History repeats — first were the horse and buggy then electric/steam vehicles, then gasoline/diesel powered vehicles.
