Attendees at Donald Trump’s rally in Selma, North Carolina rally on Saturday were full of praise for Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) for talking about drug-fueled orgies attended by conservatives in Washington D.C., the Daily Beast is reporting.
Focusing on Cawthorn’s claim that he has seen conservatives in D.C. doing cocaine “key bumps” and that he was invited to an orgy, most people who spoke with Brodey said they believed him and that the GOP leadership in Washington is engaged in a cover-up.
Asked about Cawthorn’s claims, rally attendee Karen Mitchell told Brodey that the lawmaker is in trouble with the GOP leadership because they “don’t want anyone to know what they’re up to.”

Pretty sad a jury in Michigan proved that their citizens are too partisan to be impartial in a trial where these men would have murdered the Governor of Michigan if they hadn’t been arrested first. They did more than talk. They cased the property she lives at and the vacation property where they intended to commit the crime. People just talking, don’t do those things. They intended to commit this crime. The FBI did their job and protected the Governor of Michigan by infiltrating their group and arresting them before they could cause harm. The USA will not be safer letting these men go without even a slap on the wrist.

They plot to take out a bridge, in order to deny access to police or EMTs. One guy gets cold feet, and calls the FBI who sends at least one mole. Before the deed is done, the men are arrested; two of them plead guilty. The others say they were just talking; no plans to really do anything, until those FBI guys came in and made them want to take action instead of just talking.
And a jury let two of them go, and couldn’t decide about the other two.
Ivanka Trump ‘Incriminated’ Her Father With 1/6 Testimony
Former U.S. Army prosecutor Glenn Kirschner assessed Friday that Ivanka Trump’s testimony before the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack against the U.S. Capitol “incriminated” her father.
Ivanka Trump, former President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, who served as a White House adviser, testified before the House commission on Tuesday. Representative Bennie Thompson, a Democrat who chairs the select committee, described her testimony as cooperative in comments to reporters.
Kirschner, who has repeatedly called on the Justice Department to indict the former president, argued during an episode of The Stephanie Miller Show that Ivanka Trump’s testimony was bad for her father. He also explained that it’s been previously reported that she attempted multiple times on January 6, 2021 to convince her father to call off his supporters as they wreaked havoc at the U.S. Capitol.
The attorney, who works as a legal analyst for MSNBC and NBC News, explained that former Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser Keith Kellogg previously said that a number of administration officials went into the Oval Office to urge the former president to call for an end to the violence as it unfolded.
“Donald Trump refused, according to Keith Kellogg, a retired military general and Pence’s national security adviser,” Kirschner noted. “He [Kellogg] said, ‘I tried and failed. [Former White House chief of staff] Mark Meadows tried and failed. [Former White House press secretary] Kayleigh McEnany tried and failed. Ivanka tried and failed, so we sent her back into the Oval Office a second time because she can be pretty tenacious, and she couldn’t get her father to stop the attack on the Capitol.’”

The nickname came from his former Republican primary opponent Don Blankenship, who quoted a 2014 article in The Nation magazine talking about 40 kilograms of cocaine that was found on a cargo ship owned McConnell’s wife’s family. McConnell made jokes about it and sold t-shirts saying “Cocaine Mitch.” It’s still unclear why it’s funny, however.
