why would a teacher ask him not to show the homework to his mom? Is she teaching things in her class that she knows Betty would find questionable / offensive ? That is so wrong.
Betty (the strip) is getting philosophically deep, with the whole couch sitting thing and the lesson in negotiating compromise from 2 parties following two different agendas.It is pretty entertaining to read the comments, though.
