If the GOP gains in November (and the party out of power always does) then nothing will get done for the next three years.
I am rooting for Recovery because there really are millions of Americans out there without jobs, and they shouldn’t have to wait until 2012 (or beyond) for us to do something about it.
“He and his fellow Demoncrats all predictably lurched as far to the Left as possible.”
Yes, they dared to rise taxes… to a level lower than under every post-WWII president not named “Reagan” or “Bush”
Really, Clinton was “as far to the left” only if pre-1980 history doesn’t exist, scotty. Then again, what can I expect from a guy who spells “Democrats” with a “n”?
This is exactly what’s wrong with both major Parties. They would rather see America in ruins than the other guy on top. Sorry, big D, but Saddam was one of our own messes that needed cleaning up. Sorry, big R, but we need those who got rich off of America to help pay the damnable bills.
Scott is trying to get hired to Cheney’s history-rewriting team.
The only way the Republicans will win big in November is if they can prevent the economy from recovering…which is why they’re now known as “The Party of No”.
Meanwhile, new housing starts were up in January…they’ll have to do something to ruin that, beyond merely having Fox News fail to report it.

It’s “only” better now we ship the work overseas and what do we get in return? Minimum wage opportunities and supersized offerings.

@Graphics We get Walmart as a result. Its all part of the cons plan to drive down the cost of labor.

Good cartoon. Toles is very good at finding a simple visual analogue to sum up a situation.
