A lot of the blonde Russians have Nordic roots. Some of those folks went Viking across the waves, but some of them preferred raiding south and east.

The Western World historically looks on white culture vastly difference than other skin tones. Like how we treated the Japanese vs Germans in WW2.

Syrians, who have been facing Russian military attacks for seven years, are ready to help Ukrainians organize their first responders. Ukrainians will need all the help they can get to save as many innocent lives as possible in what could be a long struggle…

The Syrian Civil Defense force, known as the White Helmets, has been working to rescue, evacuate and give emergency care to civilians under attack since 2014. The all-volunteer force says it has saved more than 100,000 civilian lives and that at least 252 of its members have been killed in the process. Now, the White Helmets are turning their attention to Putin’s latest victims…

Despite being widely recognized in the West for their heroism and bravery, the White Helmets have been the constant target of a massive disinformation campaign by the Russian government and the Assad regime, falsely accusing them of being terrorists. Saleh said Putin hates them not just because they save lives, but because they document Russian war crimes in the process…

“For the last seven years, the Syrian people have stood up to Russia and have yet to be defeated. So we believe the Ukrainians can also resist for a very long time," Saleh said. "At the end of the day, it is the will of the citizens that is the strongest weapon, even against the mightiest militaries in the world.”

This cartoon is a disappointment. Obvious, not revelatory.

Plenty of us did and do care. But our elected representatives haven’t been so interested.
