I heard yesterday that Switzerland has abandoned years of neutrality and froze Russian Assets. The walls are closing in on Vlad the Impaler and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

It really is a foreign country, despite a similar alphabet and some shared language. And they’re protecting their HOMES and LIVES and CHILDREN from invaders who are paid canon-fodder. But if we — the rest of the world — don’t get it stopped REAL soon, the simple numerical superiority will beat them down.

Putin believed his goons would walk over Ukraine, as the Taliban walked over Afghanistan. He believed wrong.

I suggest the Russian soldiers put those offered seeds in their pockets, so there can be flowers after they die.

My heart goes out to Ukraine and their fight to keep their freedom. Putin can not be allowed to win this invasion.

No matter what Putin does from now on, he has lost. Maybe not militarily in Ukraine — the Russian army clearly has enough to defeat the Ukrainians. BUT, there are 40 million people there who don’t want the Russians in their land. They will make their anger known for as long as it takes. Moreover, Putin will never again be able to travel to western countries or be the international player he wants to be. The rest of the world will suffer financially because of him, and they/we will not forget.

Night-Gaunt49. Except the way putin is going at it, there’s not much comparison with Afghanistan, which he’s still ruminating about, 40 years later, for sure. The more resistance from brave Ukranians, the more he will asphyxiate and annihilate them, going as far as nuclear action if he feels he’s losing face with another humiliating defeat. We knew he was a murderer, but the world realizes finally, I hope, what blood thirsty, desperate madman he actually is! he sees russia as the victim (abused, belittled, threatened, etc… by the West), and- apparently, he voiced this some time ago- he has nothing to lose; he’ll take the world down with him if he can’t get his goal: to be a neo-soviet-KGB empire, again… Clearly, a typical suicidal terrorist MO. How do you stop that madness?

Well if stripping Putin of his honorary sporting titles does not get him to wise up, I don’t know what will.

“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…”

The Ukrainians are even using molotov cocktails tossed from cars onto Russian BTR’s (armored personnel carriers) as they drive past the Russians.

BTR is now being said to stand for “Burning Tank, Russian”
