Dan Patrick was, at one time, a good sports reporter. But,like that other idiot Keith obermann, he has drunk so much of the republigoon kooky aid that he is, now, nothing more than a republigoon owned servant / slave.

Sad when we allow a eugenics-based minority spokesman to spread their distorted view and now proposes imposing it through public education that limits teaching true US history. Does this delusional minority actually believe that they’re a majority in America and they can stop the demographics from becoming more diverse?

Let’s see… the Qpublicans want; Truckers to clog up major American Cities, Known violent citizens to have unlimited access to airline flights, the total destruction of the American Electoral system by putting THEIR hand-picked minions in positions to control election results and toss out any that THEY don’t like, NO resolutions condemning Russia for an unprovoked invasion of another country, the ability to riot and destroy property all in the name of “Legitimate Political Discourse” (as long as THEY are doing it, that is…)

Yep, they sure ARE supporting, America, and freedom, huh???

Texas Lt. Gov Patrick is a disgrace, a liar…and based on the polls will handily be reelected this fall by my fellow Texans.

The Texas political machine runs on three rails. One rail is forged by closed-minded Southern Baptists. One rail is forged from deep pocket corporate bribes. And to power the Red juggernaut, the third rail is sparked by high voltage sky-is-falling panic and Old Testament righteous indignation generated by the likes of Louis Gohmert, Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz, and Dan (now sans brown shoe polish hair coloring) Patrick. In the greater growing ignorant populous of my dear state, this is how Republicans presently make the rules here.

I remember when he was a sports reporter. Thought he was lousy at that job, too, but I wish he’d stuck to it.

Trump has planted the seeds of extreme antisocial behavior—and it cannot be ignored

This is a symptom of the much deeper problem: Donald Trump has planted authoritarianism across America like some kind of bizarre Johnny Appleseed, and only his humiliation and conviction will pull it out by the roots.

Eight Republican senators have now come forward to defend the air-crew abusers, as astonishing as that may seem. In doing so, they’re making common cause with thousands of authoritarian followers who’ve adopted Donald Trump as their behavioral role model.

A June, 2021 Morning Consult poll found that about 26 percent of Americans now embrace authoritarian leanings, about twice the proportion found in other democratic nations. The reason, I believe, is that Donald Trump has socially encouraged and authorized their behavior, resulting in a nationwide acceptance and amplification of antisocial activities.

Were it not for Trump, most of these people would have simply taken out their authoritarian tendencies in smaller and often unnoticed ways on their dog, spouse, employees/co-workers or neighbors. Trump’s example elevated them, in their minds, to actors on the national stage so now they’re acting out in a variety of public venues, including on airplanes.

‘Linguistics detectives’ claim they’ve confirmed the identity of QAnon’s founders

According to a report from the New York Times, two teams of “linguistic detectives” have arrived at the same conclusion pinpointing the founders of the conspiracy theory cult QAnon.

Noting that the QAnon phenomenon appears to have been kicked off on a popular online message board in 2017 with an ominous post reading "Open your eyes. Many in our govt worship Satan,” the report adds that Paul Furber, a South African software developer became the first “apostle” on the cult that later exploded and helped pave the way, in the long run, to the Capitol riot on Jan 6th.

As the Times reports, questions about who “Q” is has long bedeviled journalists, investigators and the public at large and now it appears that the answer is close at hand.

According to the Times’ David Kirkpatrick, “… two teams of forensic linguists say their analysis of the Q texts show that Mr. Furber, one of the first online commentators to call attention to the earliest messages, actually played the lead role in writing them.”

“Sleuths hunting for the writer behind Q have increasingly overlooked Mr. Furber and focused their speculation on another QAnon booster: Ron Watkins, who operated a website where the Q messages began appearing in 2018 and is now running for Congress in Arizona,” the report adds. “And the scientists say they found evidence to back up those suspicions as well. Mr. Watkins appears to have taken over from Mr. Furber at the beginning of 2018. Both deny writing as Q.”

According to mathematician Patrick Juola of Duquesne University, he thinks the two teams nailed it.

“What’s really powerful is the fact that both of the two independent analyses showed the same overall pattern,” he explained.
