Former business associate explains the exact circumstances when Trump rips up documents

“According to the associate, Trump would only do this if ‘he just wanted that document to go away,’” continued the report.

“The business associate described Trump having a specific paper ripping ritual. However, they said only ‘some documents’ got the treatment and ‘it really wasn’t a regular thing,’” reported Walker. “‘He tears it once and then a second time, so it’s basically into quarters,’ the associate said of Trump. ‘He has no email address. He had no printer. So people would bring things to him and, if it was something that he just didn’t want, he would rip it in half, and then in half again, and put it in the garbage.’”

Trump blames Pelosi for not preventing his supporters from storming Capitol

    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-blames-pelosi-for-not-preventing-his-supporters-from-storming-capitol/

As I understand this story it appears that Trump wanted a group of loyal National Guard to help his Magas storm the Capitol.

Pelosi denied his request and when the real National Guard was called for protection from Maga rioters, Trump cronies blocked their deployment for 3 hours.

MAGA-rioting GOP candidate claims Trump asked him to storm Capitol in ‘military operation’

Preston V. Smith, who’s running for Jackson County executive, says he came within 10 feet of the doors leading to the Senate chamber on Jan. 6.

“But Smith denies that he went inside the building that day, clarifying one of his online posts that gave some the impression that he had entered the Capitol along with hundreds of other supporters of former President Donald Trump,” the Kansas City Star reported Wednesday.

Three days after the insurrection, Smith wrote in the comments section of a local podcast’s website: “I was within 10 feet of the Senate floor door. It was open and Capitol police were selectively pepper-spraying people who went in. Some got in, and some didn’t. So they wanted some people to get into the building. I didn’t try to get in because I didn’t know what I’d do once I got there. There is no doubt in my mind that our president asked me to come to DC on the 6th for this military operation.”

Regardless, Smith breached the barricades that had been set up to keep people away from the Capitol, and it is illegal to trespass on government property when access is restricted. But he claims he was within his constitutional rights.

“As far as I was concerned, I was there to peacefully protest and assemble," he said. "When I got there, there were no barricades. There were a handful of police officers that were there from the Capitol Police, but the doors were wide open. In fact, all the doors on the east side of the Capitol were.”

‘Scam from the very beginning’: Morning Joe explains how newly revealed memos expose Trump’s ‘intent’ to steal the election

Newly revealed legal memos show the twice-impeached one-term president’s allies intended to send alternate electors as early as mid-November, as part of an effort to pressure vice president Mike Pence to undo an election loss that wasn’t officially determined at that point, and the “Morning Joe” host said that revealed the entire effort was bogus from the start.

Infamous Trump supporter who painted over BLM mural charged with burglary and meth possession

David Nelson, 54, and Nicole Anderson, 43, made national headlines after they were caught on video defacing the Black Lives Matter mural in Martinez, California, on July 4, 2020. Fox News host Tucker Carlson even called the couple “brave” and said the prosecutor who later charged them with a hate crime should be impeached.

Nelson and Anderson are slated for trial later this year on the charges stemming from defacing the mural. But in the meantime, they’ve had another run-in with the law.

Nelson and Anderson were each charged Jan. 12 with second-degree burglary, a felony. In addition, Nelson was charged with two counts of possessing methamphetamine for sale.

Alexander Vindman explains how Donald Trump Jr. violated the Ku Klux Klan Act

“There’s wide reporting about Donald Trump, Jr. being a surrogate for his father,” Vindman replied. “When his father couldn’t speak out publicly — and his father did often speak out publicly — Donald Trump, Jr. would speak out and attack witnesses, attempt to impugn folks’ character, and really just drive up the level of hate and rhetoric around officials that went against the — proceeded to go against Donald Trump, even though Donald Trump was the one that was the corrupt actor.”

Caveman Insurrectionist Pleads Guilty To A Felony And Other Crimes.

He was dressed as a caveman and carrying a walking stick, explaining to a friend at one point that “the fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election was so obvious, even a caveman would know the election was stolen,” the DOJ said.

The man, 35-year-old Aaron Mostofsky, the son of a New York judge, also pleaded guilty in federal district court in Washington, D.C., to misdemeanor charges of stealing government property and entering and remaining in a restricted building, the Justice Department said in a press release.

He faces a maximum sentence of five years behind bars and a hefty fine for the felony charge alone, the DOJ said, though his final sentence may be lower. Mostofsky’s plea agreement notes that his lawyer and prosecutors agree that federal sentencing guidelines would recommend he get a prison term within the range of one year to 18 months.

Enroute, he picked up a U.S. Capitol Police bullet-proof vest and donned it. Minutes later, the crowd broke windows next to the Senate Wing Door, entered the Capitol, and broke the door open from inside the building. Mostofsky entered through the door at 2:13 p.m., about the 12th person to get inside that way. He quickly picked up a U.S. Capitol Police riot shield that had been set aside by another rioter. He followed the crowd to a staircase, where they pursued a U.S. Capitol Police Officer upstairs and into the Ohio Clock Corridor, just outside the Senate Chamber. At approximately 2:36 p.m., after giving an interview to a reporter, Mostofsky left the building, taking the police vest and riot shield with him. He was stripped of the shield by a U.S. Capitol Police officer.

Capitol rioter claims he thought he was in a ‘gift shop’ when he went into a senator’s office

Brian Stenz reportedly told investigators that he didn’t know that he’d broken into an official senator’s office after he entered the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021.

According to the court documents filed on Thursday, “Stenz was for the most part truthful during the interview. However, Stenz stated that he was inside the Capitol for about 3 minutes, when in fact he remained inside for 8 minutes. Additionally, Stenz did not disclose that he had entered a senator’s office or any office for that matter. Instead, he stated that he went into what appeared to be a bookstore or gift shop.”

Posting a screen capture of the excerpt, legal expert Marcy Wheeler also included a photo from the filing showing Sen. Jeff Merkley’s office. There was a bookshelf, conference table and chairs. There were no counters or cashiers, much less a room full of Capitol trinkets.

“He showed a scroll made for him by a Chinese calligrapher that rioters had torn from the wall. He said that the rioters ‘left a Trump flag here to mark their presence.’ Senator Merkley narrated how the rioters ‘stole the laptop that was sitting on the table,’ and panned across his conference table to show the damage and disarray. He then zoomed in on ashes and a cigarette butt on a desk to note that the rioters appeared to have been ‘smoking something’ in the office, before focusing on another discarded cigarette butt or joint on the floor. In Senator Merkley’s words, one could ‘count this office trashed.’”

Stenz then sent some of the photos he took to friends via text message, the filing explained.

Adam Kinzinger Rips Ted Cruz for Suggesting Ray Epps Worked With Feds on 1/6: ‘Absolute Lie’

Representative Adam Kinzinger, an Illinois Republican, took aim at GOP Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, accusing the fellow member of Congress of promoting an “absolute lie” that Ray Epps is connected to the FBI.

Allegations that Epps, a Trump supporter at the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot, was working for federal law enforcement have circulated widely within right-wing circles. No evidence has emerged corroborating the claim, and the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack has said Epps confirmed that he was not working for the FBI.

“This is an absolute lie,” wrote Kinzinger, a staunch Trump critic, on Saturday, tagging Cruz in a Saturday Twitter post. The Illinois representative shared a screenshot from a campaign email for Cruz that suggested the senator was leading the charge to discover the truth about Epps.

“@tedcruz could care less who he manipulates and what BS he spews. I will never let you forget Teddy,” Kinzinger added.
