Seven years later, we’re still disappointed.

Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) did have new knees installed so he could do some of it. They still had a younger guy for part of it.

Completely agree with the opinion the Return of the Jedi is the worst of the entire lot. Darth Vader, badass of the galaxy, whining like some bad Hamlet- “my son, my son, join me”. Lame. And if Lucas really had intended Jar Jar to be the Supreme Sith Lord all along, that would put the entire prequel set into a different and better light.

There’s nothin’ like nostalgia to get us to lay out scads of money, just so we can forget that we’re old and we’re going to die soon.

“The best movie ever”? Balderdash, I say!

Everyone knows The Best Movie Ever is The Big Lebowski!

I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE Star Wars movie. They were all great entertainment, which was all they were ever meant to be.

If they renamed the original Star Wars to “A New Hope” long after the film ran, then they should also rename The Force Awakens to “A False Hope.”
