Democracy in America isn’t going to renew itself on a wave of demographic inevitability. The combination of targeted vote-suppression, gerrymandering, partisan interference in vote certifications, a grossly unrepresentative senate, the electoral college & far-right control of the Supreme Court can work quite effectively at keeping an authoritarian RWNJ regime in power in spite of not having majority popular support.

Does anyone really assume that the fascists won’t prevail because this is America & democracy always wins out?

Ouch, indeed. Just when you think Lester can’t reveal himself to be a worse human being, he manages it.

It’s quite painful to behold.

I really like Lester’s stuff. He really is in “toon” with the consensus of millions of Americans.

Joe: Here’s a hint: not because I like you, I don’t, but because you’re all that stands between us and Kamala (next in line) and Nancy (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Chuck. 1- ask what concerns people [inflation; crime]; 2- ask what concerns Progressives [voting rights; Trump; BBB]; 3- ask yourself what is most important to YOU. 4- see where the overlaps, if any are; 5- Take some actions on overlapping items.

White supremacy threatened by democracy causes White grievance which, in turn, created White backlash. This is going to be with us for awhile until we can develop a better group of White folks.
