Under President Biden, the USA has spent far less than Trump ever did. I believe the deficit is actually down about a half a billion. All this with the child tax credit, which lifted nearly half the children living in poverty, out of poverty.

It’s not hard for President Biden to spend less than Trump and the Republicans, as Joe doesn’t have an expensive private club to go to every weekend and overcharge the Secret Service on top of that expense, and so many other things Trump and his grifting family spent tax payer money on.

Seriously, the corporate media and con artists tried to make a thing out of President Biden visiting the graves of his Deceased wife, daughter, and son. Oh, the horror, a President that actually loves his family, even when they are no longer here! Oh, how will the USA ever recover from such a display of love?!

Considering a handful of the richest men have doubled their already ridiculous wealth, and other companies have enjoyed record profits, paying record low to no taxes (while complaining about the supply chain being the reason they’ve raised their prices to the ridiculous), while people who actually do the work and earn the money the wealthy enjoy so much more of, fought, many still fight, to pay their bills. Might make some people (those not in the cult) wonder why do the workers always have to tighten their belts and sacrifice when times get tough, but the rich not only don’t sacrifice, but get wealthier.

People really need to stop feeling sorry for the rich. That’s just plain silly.

Demand went up so supply is down which resulted in SOME of the inflation. But there are many companies that are raising prices FAR more than their costs have gone up, using the cries about inflation as cover. This happens all the time when the price of oil goes up and gas stations IMMEDIATELY raise their prices even though they paid less for that at the time of purchase. Never goes down as quickly.

A bit much to paint this as a US problem. Inflation due to the pandemic pressures is pretty much global.

This is just WRONG. and btw, most of the spending this cartoon in complaining about was signed into law by Donald Trump NOT Joe Biden

It is true that increasing demand will usually cause prices to rise until a new balance between cost to buy and cost to produce (plus some profit) is reached. It is also true that in an oligopoly or monopoly, sellers can arbitrarily (often in agreement with each other) raise prices to whatever extent their PR firms can handle.

What is not true is that this is Biden admin’s doing.

And this from one of the countries that started world-wide inflation in the 1970s with rapid increases in oil prices.

What’s this crap about “big spending”? Biden isn’t spending “big”, because the obstructionist Senate is blocking the funding which would allow him to do so.
