Nancy reaches a new artistic level.
Ahh, that serene innocent bird is being set up and framed by some crooked cartoonist(s) who aren’t on the level, and in the end its goose is cooked and she has to take the swan dive.
Yay, continuity! I’m too lazy to find the strip but I remember the discussion on that picture back when cellardoor used to post here.

Nancy has been on the comic’s page for around 80 years. She possesses an honorary “Artistic License.”
Nancy couldn’t “right” the picture, so she replaced it with one showing a floundering swan in rough water.
