Don’t need your phone, it’s cold.

My wife does that. I step outside so I know what to wear when I go running. Her phone is often five or six degrees off. The number in the car dash is accurate.

That is kind of what I look like every morning after a long walk, except when it’s this cold, I wear a washable mask from last year over my face to keep it warmer. Too bad the cloth masks aren’t helpful otherwise anymore. I also wear a headband with buttons for the ear bands under my hat. I think I end up wearing heavier clothes than I weigh without them. But no snotsicle.

Naw, I was just defrosting the freezer.
