My daughter and I are guilty of this, lol. And, yes, we tip generously!
My wife’s grandparents were like this. Then they wouldn’t tip. I would “forget” my hat at the table and then leave a generous tip when I retrieved it.
Waitress handled it like a pro, though.
Get my parents in a restaurant and they order EXACTLY like this couple. I’ll have to let Dad know he’s not alone.
