It got up to 50° here yesterday. So I got some Christmas lights put up. I didn’t do the front of the house because I couldn’t find the clips for hanging lights from my gutters on the front roof. But I put up lights in back. My back yard faces a side street and it’s where I park my car, so people can see those lights. I will likely put up more lights later, but I spent part of the afternoon mowing the lawn. There was still gas in the lawn mower and it isn’t good to store gas in the mower all winter. So I used the mower to mow down the dead flowers from in front of the house and then I finished up most of the rest of the gas mulching the leaves in my back yard. I hope people didn’t think I was strange, mowing the lawn in December. I’ve never done it that late in the year before.
Don’t worry, Woof. As they say, actions speak louder than words. I’m sure you’ll find a way to get the message out there. On another note, saw a junco, a varied thrush, and two rabbits while out walking today.
