Some cats are like that. All of mine love the sides of their neck scratched. I don’t know why.

We. have cats. They don’t seem the mind a scratch here and there and now and then. Except Bitey. Don’t even think about touching her.
It’s just a matter of how long each spot will be tolerated.
One likes his tummy petted. The others allowed me to withdraw my bloody stump.
My cats don’t mind being petted almost anywhere, except their eyes or inside of their mouth.
This seems kind of unfair because unless a cat is feral, they wouldn’t mind being pet on the head or the back .
A dog looks at what you’re pointing at. A cat looks at your finger.
And this is why I keep on about cats only being good in stir fry . . .
