Yeah, but tragically, mass shootings are so frequent it’s like Americans just do the “thoughts and prayers” thing, and consider it just another daily occurrence.

CRT is a conservative boogeyman that dog whistles to Whites that they may have to give up their cherished myth of how they built this nation through their own sweat and blood blessed by god for their righteousness.

Why get outraged over school shootings when it doesn’t endanger our Republican hold over the public as much as education does?

It’s 2021 and mass shootings have been going on forever. Vote accordingly. The f%@k you waiting for?!?

Not mutually exclusive. In fact, one could argue that the “mass violence” against blacks is another form of mass violence, only it has been more spread out over geography and time.

School shootings won’t upend racist policies, but a generation of students learning anti racism might. Therefore one is tolerable and the other is not.

The republican attitude is that a few mass murders here and there is a small price to pay for protecting their right to stockpile as many weapons as they can afford, just in case they ever decide to turn against their friends and neighbors and the existing government.
