Cute. Of course the Thanksgiving ones have been dead for a week or more by now. We got ours in late October.

I buy one any time I see them on sale, regardless of when this occurs. Usually, it’s AFTER the holiday in question and the store brought in too many. Of course, right now, that’s not as likely to happen, but I still have one in my freezer.

Puzzling that there are 10 Rs -9 correct, one reversed. Actually showing a reverse R or S when written by kids is common shtick in comics; when at least for a righted handed person it is hard to print a reverse r/s.

Cold turkey.

“They shoot horses don’t they ?” . . . I’ve known people that like a shot or shots of “Wild Turkey” when celebrating Thanksgiving. They were thankful for the shots prior to dealing with relatives who attended to argue over politics, religion and Covid-19 vaccination shots.

We eschewed the turkey and had ham for Thanksgiving.
